Former Supreme Court Judge Justice Kurian Joseph Inaugurates Annual Function of Samoohika Munnetta Munnani

The annual celebration and award distribution ceremony of the Samoohika Munnetta Munnani  was inaugurated by former Supreme Court judge Justice Kurian Joseph. The award ceremony was held at the Constitution Club in Delhi. Justice Kurian Joseph said that if religious communities nurture spiritual teachers who can show people God, it will bring changes in society.

Awards were presented to individuals who have made outstanding contributions in various fields of society. The Arattupuzha Velayudha Panicker Memorial Kala Shreshta Award was presented to film director Vinayan. The Vakkam Abdul Khader Moulavi Memorial Freedom of Press Media Award was received by Johnny Lukose, News Director of Manorama News.

The Parvathi Ayyappan Memorial Nari Shakti Award was received by social activist E.K. Nusrat Jahan. The Swadeshabhimani New Media Award for excellence in the new media field was presented to Ratish Krishna, Managing Director of Janabhumi and I Ads Global Enterprises.

While presiding over the function, Samoohika Munnetta Munnani Chairman Anil Dev said that God is present wherever good deeds are done. Swami Dharma Chaithanya, the head of Advaita Ashram in Aluva, delivered a blessing speech.The annual report of theSamoohika Munnetta Munnani was presented by General Secretary Dr. B. Abdul Salam. R. Balashankar, T.K. Kuttappan, and Professor Konni Gopakumar, among others, also participated in the event.
